I don't understand the negative reviews for customer support. Sometimes you need to allow a few hours for time zone difference but these guys have always been really helpful for me and they don't quit until a resolution is found. The plugin is the best I have found in its class. I can't recommend these guys highly enough.

Not so clear how to upgrade from free plugin to the pro version retaining all existing avatars (it's needed maintain the free version, although if disabled), but it's definitely a very good plugin. Only one thing, I find the free version's backend interface better than the pro version.

WP Maps Pro is a wonderful plugin with an even more wonderful support team. I took over a website from another developer who had a subpar solution for the functionalities that this plugin fixed. However, due to the weird setup of the former developer's solution, this plugin was not functioning properly (not their fault). The support person at Advanced Google Maps (Ashok Singh) was absolutely amazing. He/she hunted down multiple issues that were not the fault of the plugin and helped me fix them before the website had to be pushed live. I was on a very tight timeline, and Advanced Google Maps made it happen with the perfect solution and an incredible support team. I cannot recommend Advanced Google Maps more highly. I had some plugin incompatibilities (with an other Google Maps plugin) that was preventing this one to show. I used the support website, and in 24 hours, the issue was resolved. The support is excellent, quick and at your service ! I wish there was a detailed instruction manual with descriptions of all the options in the setting (because there is truly a lot, and some look redundant). I guess I'll be asking them my questions until the map is exactly what I want ! The tutorials are a bit limited, but useful. 5 stars to the support team of this plugin. They truly helped us.
