I looked around a lot before deciding on this Google Maps plugin. The UI is a little clunky, but to be fair, it is less so than many paid plugins I've used. There are a few minor annoyances that I need to work out, like maps with multiple points not centering where they should, but the many excellently implemented features far outweigh that. The one feature I would like to see is map tinting. I can approximate a tinted map by playing around with the colors, but it would be great if I could just choose one color to tint the entire map.

It takes the whole creating custom templates out of your hands and let's you do it from the dashboard. Also customer support is very open to ideas on further improving the flexibility of the plugin. Great plugin. It does what it says that it does. Creating maps and markers is a breeze - and it is even easier to create routes. The only suggestion that I would make for future - is please make it even easier to include hyperlinks in map marker descriptions. But with this - I am nitpicking. You have so many ways in which you can customise the layouts and features, and the HUGE thing about that is, you really don't need to know any coding - it literally works right out of the box. Hi I am not having any more issues, once I disabled my theme’s default google map api everything worked fine. It took me a full day to sort out as I still had problems once I had done all the Google API activations etc. You should do a screencast video in regards to the setting up of Google API'S as there are plenty of novices amongst us who will have difficulty understanding it. If after all that the user still has issues then they need to put in a support request to their theme author and get the necessary code to add to their theme functions php. Like this http://www.kriesi.at/support/topic/google-maps-element-javascript-conflict-with-maps-marker-pro-plugin/ Other Map plugins are having the same problems you just need to be able to deal with all the support requests that Google has caused you. Referring customers to your blog post only helps a little and falls well short of solving the problem. This plugin works fine for me so it's a question of activating the nec Google API'S and getting rid of any theme conflicts. Only your theme Author can help you with this. Regards Peter
