How to Filter Listing by File Extension

You may easily filter your storage files by their extensions with our WP DISPLAY FILES plugin. Using the ‘Include Files & directories’ settings, this robust capability lets you highlight particular files and directories on the frontend. By displaying only the files you wish to see, you can improve user experience and streamline file management!

Filter Listing By File Extension

  1. Step 1: Go to the dashboard and click on the ‘WP Display Files –> ManageShortcodes’ page.
  2. Step 2: Edit your created shortcode and navigate to the “Include / Exclude Specific Files & Folders” tab.

  3. Step 3: In this tab, locate the “Exclude Files & Folders” textbox and enter the file extension name. You can enter multiple extensions separated by commas.

  4. Step 4: After entering the file extension names, save this shortcode.

    You can see only filtered files are displayed on the frontend.
