User Controlled Location Access
Its the user that provides their current geographical location to the google maps plugin in order to display them in form of marker on the map. When a site user logs in into the website and arrives on the map page, our plugin triggers the browser to ask access for user's geographical location with a default popup. Please make sure the website runs on HTTPS with SSL certificate installed in order to securely allow the location access to browser. This lead to improved user experience.
If the logged in user clicks on "Allow" to allow the browser to access the location, this add-on plugin draws a marker on the map and updates the current location of the logged in user in the database as well. So if now the user refresh the map page, he/she will see his marker on the map that represents user's current location.
Admin Can Decide Which Users Roles To Display On Map
Site administrator can decide which users needs to be displayed on the website. They can be some members or some users with a special role in WordPress. Our plugin provides manageable settings to manage all this.
Admin can select the user roles from the list which he/she wants to display on the map. Users with the selected roles only will be asked access to their location by the browser and later they are displayed on the map. Other user's wont get affected anyhow by this functionality. So admin has full flexibility and control to decide users of what roles will be displayed on map.
Display User's In InfoWindow & Listing Record
There is backend settings for fully control the HTML of what should be displayed inside the marker's infowindow that represents a user on map.
